Seniors JOY Group

As seniors, we recognize the power of staying connected, being in relationship with Jesus, and continuing to live with purpose.

Our goal is to explore the mission of KPC and ask what it means to do so within the senior season of life. We want to create opportunities for seniors to connect, grow, serve, and experience meaningful community, while also recognizing that every person is in a different place and ability.

Join us every third Wednesday of each month for lunch at 11:30am. You can stay updated on current JOY events through the weekly E-Blast, JOY email list and online.

Where and when do we meet?

Every Third Wednesday of the month we have lunch at 11:30am in the Community Room. Walk into the Kortright building front door and greeters will direct you accordingly.

How much does it cost to attend?

Nothing. It’s free! 

What can I bring?

If you would like to bring a dessert that would be great! We also encourage you to bring a friend.

I’m not driving or don’t have a way to get there. Do you have a ride program?

We currently don’t have a ride program, but we do have friends able to help. If you’re in a need for a ride please email Megan at seniors@kortrightchurch.org to help coordinate your ride.

My family member is living with dementia (PLWD). Can they attend?

Yes please! Our group is dementia friendly. If your family member has reliable systems to get them safely to and from please feel free to come. We also recognize that some people need additional support. We welcome family members or support workers to attend alongside their PLWD.
